About the role#
This is a full-time Forward Deploy Engineer internship based in Houston, Texas, for the Summer 2026 term. You will work directly with clients to solve technical challenges, requiring a self-starter approach and the ability to navigate ambiguous project requirements.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with clients to deliver technical solutions.
- Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to streamline development.
- Work on backend development tasks using PHP or Python.
- Engage with process mapping, BPM, or RPA concepts.
- Build and maintain API integrations and REST services.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Proficiency in web fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one modern framework, such as React or Angular.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- A portfolio or GitHub repository demonstrating personal or academic projects.
