About the role#
As a Clinical Extern, you will participate in a 12-week program designed to provide exposure to the Managed Care industry. This role focuses on skill development and gaining practical experience in clinical services under the guidance of experienced preceptors.
What you'll do#
- Observe preceptors and shadow their daily processes to learn about various clinical services.
- Participate in projects to understand the core functions of the Managed Care industry.
- Assist with clinical services as directed by your preceptor or manager.
- Develop clinical knowledge and professional skills through hands-on experience.
- Follow established instructions and company procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited clinical program.
- You must be receiving course credit for your participation in this externship.
- Academic background in Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures provided by management.

- This position is fully remote for candidates based in California.
- This is an unpaid, full-time externship.
- The program operates on a rolling basis.
