This 10-week summer internship provides firsthand experience in the construction industry through on-the-job training and structured projects. Interns work within operations or support functions to gain insight into the business line while building professional networks.
What you'll do#
- Acquire specific knowledge regarding business line practices.
- Act as an advocate for safety by meeting or exceeding company standards.
- Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree program.
- Preferred fields of study include Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering, as well as Business Administration.
- High proficiency in MS Office, specifically with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
