About the role#

This paid internship supports the Chief Operating Officer team at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. The role provides hands-on exposure to the operations of a large nonprofit, focusing on program documentation, community outreach, and process improvement projects.

What you'll do#

• Support the development and organization of training materials and documentation for agency programs.
• Assist with planning and outreach for community events, including managing logistics and creating promotional materials.
• Help maintain and organize program policies, procedures, and reference documents.
• Perform data entry, tracking, and light data organization using Excel and MS365.
• Provide administrative and coordination support across multiple concurrent projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
• A willingness to learn and ask questions.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, Public Health, or Sociology.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in San Jose, California.
• Schedule: Approximately 15-20 hours per week.
• Structure: Flexible, rolling term.
• Compensation: This is a paid position.
