This is a full-time, paid Summer 2026 Co-op position based in Canton, Massachusetts. You will work on-site, focusing on the maintenance and installation of building automation control systems. This role involves direct interaction with customers to ensure satisfaction and requires a commitment to a structured learning path and self-study.
What you'll do#
- Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation control systems.
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction, inform them of service activities, and identify potential system enhancements.
- Collaborate with the service account manager to engineer and estimate technical solutions.
- Complete all job-related documentation on time, including work orders, time sheets, and project status reports.
- Follow an established learning path, conducting extensive self-study and practice to maintain technical proficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associates Degree or Technical School certification in the HVAC industry.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Valid and current Driver’s License and must be insurable.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Basic experience with Microsoft software products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and climb ladders or use lift equipment in excess of 8 feet.
