Imaging Student Tech-Velocity Care

About the role#

The Imaging Student Tech at Velocity Care assists in the application of prescribed ionizing radiation and performs diagnostic procedures. This role involves working under the direct supervision of a registered technologist to support patient care and diagnostic operations. This is a paid, full-time position with a variable schedule.

What you'll do#

• Operate specialized technical equipment to obtain quality radiographs.
• Evaluate and position patients while maintaining high standards of professional ethics and safety.
• Handle patient processing tasks, including scheduling, registration, and file management.
• Travel to various Velocity Care locations as needed to support clinic operations.
• Apply knowledge of patient growth and development to provide appropriate care.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th quarter of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• A letter of support from your Program Director.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain flexible with assignments.
