Reclamation Student

About the role#

This is an 8-month internship position based at the head office in Calgary, Alberta. You will join the Development Operations Reclamation team, working alongside industry professionals to support the planning, execution, and optimization of assessment, remediation, and reclamation activities. This is a full-time, on-site role with a schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

What you'll do#

• Support the reclamation team through data acquisition and analysis for optimization projects, well records reviews, and ongoing operations.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry software, including Siteview, Accumap, and Tableau.
• Participate in all aspects of reclamation, including phase 1 and phase 2 environmental site assessments (ESAs), remediation, and the preparation of reclamation reports and applications.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a recognized Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related program.
• A valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or an equivalent out-of-province license.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to work.
