About the role#
This is a 12-month full-time Accounting Co-op position based in Calgary. You will join the accounting team to support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role offers exposure to real-world financial operations and provides opportunities for mentorship within a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoicing and disbursements.
- Support month-end closings by preparing reconciliations and reviewing entries.
- Maintain and update capital records.
- Monitor budgets and track expenditures across departments.
- Perform data entry to ensure system accuracy.
- Organize and update documentation to support audit preparation.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and payment processing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program (BBA, BComm, or equivalent) that requires a work term as a formal curriculum component.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- A curious, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Assets include bilingualism in English and French, experience with financial data or accounting software, and experience handling sensitive information.

- Term: 12 months, starting September 7, 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Compensation: $23.50 per hour.
