About the role#
The Marketing & Sales Intern supports marketing, sales, and customer engagement activities within an industrial manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to industrial sales and marketing operations while helping to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. You will work across teams to support content development, lead tracking, and market research.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development and distribution of marketing materials, including sales brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support marketing and sales strategies.
- Assist the sales team with preparing proposals, quotes, presentations, and customer communications.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to understand product offerings and customer applications.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to marketing and sales activities.
- Support social media, website updates, email campaigns, and CRM record maintenance.
- Participate in sales meetings, trade show preparation, and customer visits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- An interest in marketing, sales, or business development within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
