About the role#
The Early Career Recruiting and Internship Program Manager designs and executes the early talent strategy for the bank. This role manages the full-cycle recruiting process for leadership development programs and internships while serving as the primary owner of the candidate and participant experience. You will collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to ensure programs align with workforce planning needs and long-term talent strategies.
What you'll do#
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for leadership development programs and internships, including candidate screening.
- Develop and manage the internship program and process, including maintaining the annual intern budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and student organizations across the Busey footprint.
- Coordinate and represent the bank at campus recruiting events, such as career fairs and on-campus interviews.
- Track and analyze recruiting and program performance metrics, including applicant volume, retention, and success measures.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree with exposure to Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of corporate recruiting experience, with a preference for college or early-career recruiting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ATS platforms (Workday is preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify hiring challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize a heavy workload.
