About the role#
Burke, Inc. is seeking an IT Hardware/Software Co-op for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Install, configure, and maintain PC and Mac computer equipment to ensure technology is ready for use.
- Assist the team with troubleshooting, network support, and system administration.
- Participate in technology-related projects to improve departmental equipment and processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of six months of experience in a similar technical support role or co-op within a professional business environment is preferred.
- Experience providing technical support for Dell hardware, Apple/Macs, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate positively and professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of the following is considered a plus: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Defender, O365, and Cisco networking.
