As a Brand Engagement Intern at Buildertrend, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and brand experiences. This role offers hands-on experience in event marketing, project management, and experiential branding by assisting with national and regional events such as the International Builders’ Show and Builderbond. You will help create organized, thoughtful experiences that allow attendees to engage with the brand effectively.
What you'll do#
- Support planning, logistics, and project coordination for national, regional, and customer-facing events.
- Coordinate venues, catering, travel details, event materials, and branded merchandise.
- Maintain event timelines, task lists, and planning documents to keep teams aligned.
- Assist with event setup and management using tools such as Cvent, Wrike, and Microsoft Teams.
- Draft and proofread invitations, reminders, agendas, and attendee resources.
- Support on-site setup, registration, vendor coordination, and real-time event needs.
- Collect feedback, track attendance, and assist in building event recaps with actionable recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow established timelines.
- Comfort in writing clear, polished messages for various audiences.
- Interest in event marketing, B2B marketing, SaaS, or residential construction.
- Experience with project management or event tools is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to use AI as a tool while maintaining critical thinking and ownership of work quality.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Position Type: Part-time internship (approximately 15 hours per week).
