About the role#
The IT Intern provides technical support to the Information Technology team while gaining hands-on experience in a professional enterprise environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining technology assets, and supporting daily IT operations across company locations. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Assist with computer setup, imaging, configuration, and deployment for team members.
- Perform troubleshooting for computers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
- Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams and Outlook.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and technology assets.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
- Assist with user account setup and employee onboarding tasks.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment in a training program.
- Currently pursuing or interested in a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and office technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
