Footwear Design Intern, Inline - Fall 2026

About the role#

As a Footwear Design Intern, you will support the creation of innovative running footwear while gaining exposure to the entire product creation process. You will work alongside the Footwear Design team to develop foundational skills in construction, color, form, and performance design. This role includes completing an individual design project under the guidance of a Senior Footwear Designer, culminating in a final presentation to the design team.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with Development and Product Line Management partners to support the creation of innovative running footwear.
• Create hand sketches, digital renderings, and presentation materials to communicate design concepts.
• Analyze pre-line feedback from Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising partners to understand consumer needs.
• Seek and apply feedback from cross-functional partners to develop design solutions.
• Support the exploration and development of footwear concepts through research and ideation.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled as a junior or above in a university majoring in Product Design, Industrial Design, Footwear Design, or a related field.
• Demonstrated talent in sketching and concept development.
• A strong portfolio showcasing innovative thinking and a passion for performance footwear design.
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
