Brio Real Estate Credit Intern – Summer 2027

About the role#

This 10-week internship provides hands-on exposure to commercial real estate finance. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to gain insight into real-world transactions and investment strategies while developing technical and analytical skills.

What you'll do#

Interns will be placed within one of three teams:

• Asset Management: Contribute to the strategic management, evaluation, and reporting of a diverse portfolio of private commercial real estate debt investments, including core, core+, value-add, and opportunistic strategies.
• Private Investments: Support the investment process through asset, market, and economic due diligence, financial modeling, production of investment packages, and closing activities.
• Structured Credit: Perform credit analysis, build financial models, assess risk, and contribute to investment and portfolio review materials across major property types, public securities, and loan pools.

What you'll need#

• Current sophomore undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution, graduating in 2029.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities.

• Location: Dallas, Texas (with the ability to work in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX).
• Term: 10-week full-time internship beginning in June 2027.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Paid position.
