Landscape Development Internship

About the role#

The Landscape Development Internship at BrightView Landscapes offers a rotational experience focused on the practical aspects of landscape development, project estimation, and site coordination.

What you'll do#

• Landscape and Safety: Handle and install plant materials and irrigation systems, while following site safety protocols and operating equipment.
• Estimating: Gather, calculate, and compile take-off data to assemble bid proposal estimates.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with a Project Manager to manage document control, including change orders, billings, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administration.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, Agriculture-Business, Landscape Design, or Plant Science.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
