About the role#
The Landscape Development Internship at BrightView Landscapes offers a rotational experience focused on the practical aspects of landscape development, project estimation, and site coordination.
What you'll do#
- Landscape and Safety: Handle and install plant materials and irrigation systems, while following site safety protocols and operating equipment.
- Estimating: Gather, calculate, and compile take-off data to assemble bid proposal estimates.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with a Project Manager to manage document control, including change orders, billings, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administration.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, Agriculture-Business, Landscape Design, or Plant Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
