About the role#
The Government & External Affairs internship for Fall 2026 provides an opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry within a public policy context. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Washington D.C.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legislative research to support policy initiatives.
- Support outreach efforts to various stakeholders.
- Draft professional correspondence and reports.

- Assist in the organization and execution of events.

- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Political Science, Public Health, Communications, Business Administration, or International Relations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven research and analytical capabilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with government relations.
