About the role#

Bluestem Biosciences offers an internship program designed as a mutual exploration of potential future collaboration. This program provides professional development in industrial biotechnology, allowing you to gain industry-relevant skills while contributing to the company's mission. Interns receive continuous support and feedback from a dedicated manager throughout the term.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to projects that deliver tangible advancements in industrial biotechnology and sustainable action.
• Work on initiatives such as developing bio-based chemical markets, downstream separation processes, computational biology tools, or strain engineering strategies.
• Participate in projects ranging from scientific research and biochemistry to business strategy, financial modeling, and chemical process engineering.
• Utilize tools and methodologies to expand your knowledge and impact within the organization.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration.
• A strong academic record and a genuine passion for the company's mission.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A proactive and curious mindset with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
