Electrical Engineering Intern

About the role#

BlueHalo is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the Space Technologies Electrical Engineering Team. This role provides hands-on experience designing and developing electronics for space applications and supporting electrical integration efforts within complex systems.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the creation and modification of detailed wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Systems Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Support the development of system-level cable routing, power distribution, and interconnect documentation.
• Utilize industry-standard tools, such as Altium or SolidWorks Electrical, to generate technical drawings.
• Prepare design packages that comply with applicable military and industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revisions.
• Assist with troubleshooting and validation of assemblies during prototyping or system integration.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience creating or interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of analog or digital electronics and printed circuit boards.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
