About the role#
Blue River Technology is seeking a Machine Learning Intern to join our research and engineering team. This role focuses on improving and supporting robotic and vision-based systems for the agriculture industry. You will work on pushing the boundaries of our current technology through experimentation and algorithm development.
What you'll do#
- Research and develop image-processing and computer-vision algorithms for 2D and 3D scene segmentation.
- Develop experiments and methods to detect and characterize model performance issues in long-tail conditions.
- Explore deep learning models and frameworks to advance the performance of current systems.
- Investigate new methods within the active learning space.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with machine learning systems, specifically in computer vision and deep learning.
- Proficiency in Python and deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
