2026 SkillBridge Intern *Open to Active Duty US Military Only*

About the role#

This internship is part of the DoD SkillBridge Program, designed for active-duty service members in their final months of service. This program provides a bridge to the civilian healthcare industry, allowing participants to apply their leadership, problem-solving skills, and mission-driven mindset within a corporate setting. Please note that this is an expression of interest to identify potential placement opportunities; specific roles are determined based on organizational needs and the alignment of skills and interests.

What you'll do#

• Participate in hands-on work within a civilian healthcare environment.
• Explore potential career paths in the healthcare industry.
• Apply military leadership and problem-solving skills to organizational projects.
• Adhere to all company policies and professional conduct standards.

What you'll need#

• Must be an active-duty service member within your last 180 days of service.
• Must receive approval from your commanding officer and service branch to participate.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks for the internship placement.
• A clear end-of-service date that aligns with the internship timeline.
• Academic background in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Nursing is preferred.

Location & details#

• This internship is unpaid and intended for training purposes.
• Interns are responsible for managing their own housing, transportation, and living expenses.
• The role is fully remote and can be performed from any of the 50 U.S. states.
• Participation does not guarantee post-program employment.
