Full Year Intern-IT

About the role#

This full-year internship provides hands-on experience in Information Technology. You will work with IT team members to assist with technology initiatives, data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and technical support activities. The program is designed to build practical technical and business skills while providing exposure to the health insurance industry.

What you'll do#

• Assist in preparing research materials to identify business problems, offer recommendations, and support management with the implementation of solutions.
• Support leadership on projects designed to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs across the organization.
• Develop a solid understanding of company products, programs, data, organizational structure, and controls.
• Participate in department meetings, team-building events, and networking opportunities with company leaders and other interns.
• Engage in volunteer activities and community outreach.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information to the highest degree.
• Departmental preferences include a career interest in Generative AI, knowledge of deep learning, machine learning, and neural networks, and working knowledge of Python, SQL, and Power BI.
