Intern, Business Development and Alliance Management

About the role#

The Business Development & Alliance Management team manages BioNTech's external partnerships and collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This internship offers the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects involving Business Alliances, Legal, Intellectual Property, and Research & Development departments.

What you'll do#

• Coordinate contractual obligations for multi-partner, multi-asset clinical trial combination strategies.
• Identify and implement a fit-for-purpose Alliance Health Check platform.
• Support the development of an alliance management and collaborations playbook.
• Contribute to various business alliance initiatives, such as establishing royalty monitoring functions or implementing contract management tools.
• Collaborate across departments on project-based assignments.

What you'll need#

• Completion of at least three years of undergraduate coursework in Biology, Business, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or Health Administration.
• Current enrollment in a graduate program, such as an MBA, PharmD, or MD.
• Minimum GPA of approximately 3.2.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company, life sciences consulting, or clinical research.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.
