Human Resources Intern

About the role#

Biocytogen is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our growing HR team in Waltham, Massachusetts. This full-time, on-site position provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, training administration, and data management. This role is well-suited for individuals interested in developing a career in HR and people operations within the biotechnology industry.

What you'll do#

• Maintain and organize employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with HR data entry, reporting, and database maintenance.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of HR and training platforms, including updating training materials and tracking completion records.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and reference checks.
• Support new hire onboarding activities and ensure required documentation is processed.
• Prepare HR-related reports, spreadsheets, and presentations while providing administrative support for daily operations.

What you'll need#

• Master's degree completed or currently in progress in Human Resources, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with HR systems, learning management systems (LMS), or database management is considered a plus.
