This paid, full-time summer internship program offers hands-on experience in Retail Finance and Merchandising. Interns will work on-site to gain exposure to executive leadership, receive mentorship from experienced retail professionals, and take ownership of real business projects. This program provides insight into how merchandising, finance, and operations intersect to drive retail results.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Buyers and Planners to develop assortment strategies.
- Analyze sales performance, margins, and expenses to identify business opportunities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes while building financial models and reporting tools.
- Participate in vendor meetings and assist with product selection and pricing decisions.
- Review market trends and the competitive landscape.
- Partner with business leaders to understand profitability drivers and present insights to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with a preference for rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or Accounting.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer program.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
