Connected Monitoring Co-Op

About the role#

As a Connected Monitoring Co-Op, you will join the Baxter R&D team in Skaneateles, New York. This role supports the development of next-generation medical devices and monitors within the connected monitoring group. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of engineers, operations, and quality assurance professionals to research, develop, and test products designed to improve patient care.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the building and operation of prototypes for new product development.
• Execute hardware builds and perform necessary product testing.
• Support the testing and development of Biomedical test systems.
• Research and test technologies from various industries to support future vital signs monitoring products.
• Participate in team meetings to drive innovation, solve problems, and meet project schedules.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Biomedical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Ability to act as a strategic problem solver with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
• Adaptability and an openness to change, with a focus on simplifying complex work.

• Compensation: $26.00 per hour.
• Status: Paid, full-time, rolling term.
