    About the role#

    The IT Desktop Intern position at Bank of Hope provides hands-on experience in enterprise corporate IT. You will support daily banking operations by maintaining the technology infrastructure that keeps staff connected and operational.

    What you'll do#

    • Assemble, test, and install desktop PCs, laptops, and peripheral equipment.
    • Diagnose and resolve foundational hardware and software issues.
    • Install, update, and configure standard operating systems and corporate software.
    • Maintain an accurate database of the organization’s computer systems, mobile devices, and active software licenses.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
    • Familiarity with PC components, printers, and mobile devices.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Ability to work across multiple systems and applications.
    • Strong analytical skills to diagnose hardware and software faults.
    • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users and provide effective customer service.

    • Term: Summer 2026.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
    • Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, plus bonus and benefits.
