Quality Engineering Intern

About the role#

Aviya Aerospace Systems is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to join the Quality Team in Mississauga for a 4-month internship. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the Process & Quality Team to develop and maintain the AS9100 D Quality Management System.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality documentation, including plans, manuals, procedures, work instructions, templates, and checklists.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the team.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or enrolled in a post-graduate diploma program in Quality Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize milestones while delivering work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Word.
• Experience with Git for version control and high-level scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
• Working knowledge of MediaWiki administration and content editing.
• Familiarity with AsciiDoc markup and tools like draw.io or Visio for creating process flows and maps.
