Marketing Assistant / Intern

About the role#

This position supports the daily operations of the marketing team at the Aviagen North America corporate headquarters. The role focuses on the logistics and administrative tasks required to keep marketing initiatives running, including material fulfillment, inventory management, and event coordination.

What you'll do#

• Create and assist with the production of basic marketing materials, signage, and promotional content.
• Process shipments, including picking, packing, and tracking outgoing materials, while responding to urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform routine stock counts, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Prepare monthly recharge reports and track promotional item usage to ensure accurate departmental billing.
• Assist in planning and coordinating events, including managing hotel accommodations, catering, and on-site logistics.

What you'll need#

• A background in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or Business Administration.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Dependability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication skills to interact with various departments.
