The Department of Student Life & Engagement is seeking individuals to support the planning and implementation of campus programs and traditions that foster engagement and school spirit. This position averages 20 hours per week over 32 weeks during the fall and spring semesters. Please note that this role requires working primarily evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate assigned programs, events, and special projects from planning through implementation, including Homecoming and Welcome Week.
- Collaborate with Student Life & Engagement staff to support departmental initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Assist with event logistics, crowd management, participant engagement, and event breakdown.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the department in a professional manner.
- Support outreach efforts, marketing distribution, and event promotion to increase student participation.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, inventory management, and record keeping.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of related experience coordinating projects, programs, events, or administrative operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $15-$17 per hour.
