    About the role#

    Attune Med Spa is seeking a resourceful, design-minded AI Engineer Intern to build and deploy practical AI solutions. In this role, you will work directly with our technology team to develop chatbots, internal tools, and system integrations. This is a hands-on position focused on rapid prototyping and shipping production-ready features that improve our client experience and internal operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Build chatbots and AI agents to manage customer inquiries, bookings, and internal workflows.
    • Develop internal tools and automations using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code and Claude Cowork.
    • Design and maintain API integrations across core systems, including AWS, WordPress, HubSpot, and Zenoti.
    • Customize WordPress functionality through themes, plugins, and custom endpoints.
    • Collaborate with agency partners using shared GitHub repositories, version control, and pull requests.
    • Create UI and brand assets using modern, AI-assisted design tools.
    • Develop solutions with a focus on privacy and HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive client and health information.
    • Rapidly turn concepts into functional prototypes and refine them for production.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Proficiency with agentic AI tools like Claude Code or Claude Cowork to produce shippable output.
    • Experience building chatbots or AI agents, including conversational flows and function calling.
    • Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
    • Comfort with Git and GitHub workflows, including branching and code review.
    • Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and hosting.
    • Experience with WordPress development, including PHP and the WordPress REST API.
    • A strong design sense and the ability to maintain brand standards.
    • Awareness of HIPAA regulations or a willingness to learn privacy-first data handling.
