Office Intern - Production Control

About the role#

This is a part-time, on-site internship based in Rock Spring, Georgia, within the Production Control department. You will support daily office operations while learning technical skills specific to the motor vehicle manufacturing industry. This role requires a high degree of initiative and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, diverse environment.

What you'll do#

• Provide general administrative support and assist with daily office functions.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Create training documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Follow direction from site and regional management regarding project execution.
• Participate in job shadowing and report on task completion.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies, including OSHA regulations and quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks as required, including sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma; some college coursework is preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
