AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Talent Acquisition/HR Intern to support recruiting efforts within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle recruiting, candidate engagement, and talent operations. You will work alongside recruiters and hiring leaders to build pipelines, coordinate interviews, and support hiring initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
What you'll do#
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement through LinkedIn, email, and phone.
- Schedule interviews and manage ongoing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates based on specific role requirements.
- Partner with the recruiting team to maintain data accuracy within the applicant tracking system.
- Assist with hiring events, career fairs, and on-site interview coordination.
- Help track recruiting metrics and improve the overall candidate experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn or other sourcing tools is preferred.
- Exposure to applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Previous internship, campus leadership, or work experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
