Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Engineering Co-op Student for the Fall 2026 term at the Ancaster facility. You will support the project engineer with facility projects, including product development, manufacturing process improvements, building upgrades, and equipment installations.
What you'll do#
- Update existing plant layouts and create technical drawings for specific equipment and projects.
- Assist the project engineer with engineering and process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing area.
- Maintain accurate line layouts through field measurements and verifications.
- Support the installation of equipment for new product start-ups.
- Contribute to line efficiency and improvement projects.
- Adhere to all established standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and health and safety regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary degree or diploma program in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- An understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Schedule: Day shift, 8 am – 4 pm.
- Status: Paid, full-time.
