ARC Health is seeking graduate-level clinical externs and interns for the 2026-2027 training year. This role provides direct care learning opportunities within a multidisciplinary team specializing in evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and families. Students will gain experience in a variety of settings, including clinic-based, in-home, telehealth, and school-based services.
What you'll do#
- Fulfill externship training requirements as outlined by your educational institution.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, including CBT, for individual and group treatment.
- Carry a mental health caseload of approximately 10 sessions per week.
- Participate in professional development, including community workshops, didactics, case presentations, and special projects.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues specializing in CBT, PCIT, SM, and ABA.
- Engage in supervised assessment, case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Attend department meetings and supervision sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate program for Clinical, School, or Applied Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marital and Family Therapy, or Social Work.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience using evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, PMT, ERP, PCIT) to treat children and adolescents with anxiety, mood disorders, ODD, and ADHD.
- Availability of up to 20 hours per week, spread across a maximum of 3 days.
- Preferred: Experience with Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), psychological testing, and working with the ASD population.
