Customer Sales and Service Intern

About the role#

This internship offers an immersion into the Applied Industrial Technologies service center network. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business by rotating through various operational and sales functions. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity based in Greenville, North Carolina.

What you'll do#

• Rotate through and learn the responsibilities of warehouse, driver, inside sales, and outside sales roles.
• Engage with service center managers and team members to understand daily operations.
• Complete an assigned project throughout the duration of the internship.
• Present project findings to regional and service center management at the conclusion of the program.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales and customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
