Dorm Therapy Editorial Intern

About the role#

The Dorm Therapy Editorial Intern will support the Editorial Special Projects team during the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on contributing to content for Dorm Therapy, covering topics such as dorm decor, college life, beauty, style, organization, and food. The intern will work under the direction of the Deputy Editor to execute editorial strategy and assist with content production.

What you'll do#

• Ideate and pitch multiple story ideas on a weekly basis.
• Write and fact-check 3-5 articles per week, including trending news and SEO-driven features.
• Source leads for new content and refresh archival SEO content.
• Assist with building and creating additional content as needed.
• Attend team meetings and help monitor and report on analytics.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a journalism, communications, or relevant degree program.
• Strong writing and fact-checking skills with the ability to engage a college-aged audience.
• High attention to detail in communication and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing strategies.
• Familiarity with technical systems or content management systems (CMS).
• An awareness of current internet trends and pop culture relevant to college students.

Location & details#

• Term: Fall 2026 (September through November).
• Location: Remote.
• Compensation: $20 per hour.
• Commitment: 25 hours per week.
