About the role#
The Research Student Assistant position supports ongoing research initiatives at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Chicago, Illinois, with a rolling application term.
What you'll do#
- Follow established research protocols as directed.
- Collect, record, and organize research data.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all data collection activities.
- Perform other research project duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively during face-to-face interactions with research staff, physicians, and administrative personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Biology, Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
