Stage Managers (Seasonal)

About the role#

Angel City Football Club is seeking seasonal Stage Managers to join the Game Presentation and Production team. Working under the supervision of the event producer, you will assist in the coordination and execution of live game and event production elements. This role requires a commitment to working at least 80% of home games on a rotating schedule.

What you'll do#

• Provide support to the Game Presentation department during home games.
• Assist with pregame and halftime rehearsals and sound checks.
• Manage pre-game and halftime entertainment from field-level, including national anthems, sponsor elements, promotional giveaways, interviews, presentations, youth soccer games, and special ceremonies.
• Coordinate with vendors, talent, players, executives, and guests to execute scripted elements.
• Ensure all entertainment elements occur on time and are executed accurately.
• Communicate problems, issues, or changes to the game producer or director.
• Act as a liaison between on-field officials and the production team during the match.
• Assist with postgame tasks, such as post-match press conferences and sponsored photos.

What you'll need#

• 1-2 years of experience in live sports entertainment, TV/film production, or live event management is preferred.
• Ability to lift objects weighing over 35 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with management, staff, fans, players, and VIPs.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in high-pressure environments.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
• Relevant academic background in Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, or Graphic Design is a plus.
