    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time Industrial Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op position for Summer 2026. You will work on-site in Salem, New Hampshire, supporting manufacturing operations, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

    What you'll do#

    • Lead the review and update of tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks, coordinating with Quality, Design, and Production teams.
    • Support manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.
    • Collect and analyze data using Minitab or MS Excel to identify trends and troubleshoot production issues.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Assist with the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Collaborate across departments, including R&D, Quality, and Production, while ensuring all work follows company safety policies.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.
    • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and CAD software.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
    • Preferred: Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, and experience with ERP systems.
