About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will support daily HR operations and gain hands-on experience in core HR functions. This role involves assisting with onboarding, recruiting, records management, and training support.
What you'll do#
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation by preparing materials and supporting the process.
- Maintain and organize employee and temporary employee records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling.
- Track and maintain HR metrics such as attendance, turnover, and hiring data.
- Support training and development initiatives through scheduling and recordkeeping.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team and participate in special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Location & details#
- Location: Mesa, Arizona.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21 per hour.
- Status: Paid internship.
- Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time options.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands regularly. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
