About the role#
The Learning and Development Co-op supports the design, coordination, and delivery of employee learning initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate training, talent development, and learning administration while working alongside the Learning and Development Lead to support employee growth.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and administer training programs, workshops, and learning events, including managing schedules, invitations, and attendance tracking.
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and administration of the Learning & Development module within Oracle HCM.
- Develop and maintain training materials, presentations, guides, and e-learning content.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to track training participation, compliance, and learning effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate employee training records and learning data.
- Gather and analyze training feedback and participation metrics.
- Assist with employee engagement, career development, and talent management initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support for HR and Learning & Development projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time, post-secondary student in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Eligibility to participate in a co-op or internship program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to present in front of groups, facilitate discussions, and engage an audience.
- Capability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (On-site).
- Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Duration: 8 to 12 month co-op option.
- Status: Full-time.
