About the role#
This Media Room Assistant internship offers the opportunity to support pre-production and post-production workflows within the American Tower Media Room. You will work part-time, 30 hours per week, in partnership with the Communications and Learning & Development teams.
What you'll do#
- Schedule recordings and reserve Media Room time.
- Prepare teleprompter scripts, organize project folders, and verify equipment readiness.
- Set up cameras, lights, microphones, and teleprompters.
- Manage recording logs and shot notes.
- Ingest footage, organize assets, and create project structures.
- Build rough cuts, add lower thirds and captions, and export review versions.
- Maintain media libraries by tagging and archiving content.
- Track equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Basic After Effects.
- Experience with camera operation (specifically FX3 and A7RV models).
- Understanding of audio recording fundamentals and basic lighting techniques.
- Strong organizational skills, including file management, attention to detail, and project tracking.
