About the role#
The Student Finance Representative provides guidance to prospective, current, and former students throughout the financial aid process. This role focuses on delivering accurate information regarding funding, loan eligibility, and financial planning while maintaining compliance with federal and institutional regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Somerset, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Counsel students on financial aid eligibility, application procedures, and loan management.
- Assist students with completing necessary financial aid documentation.
- Evaluate and resolve student inquiries and issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain telephone coverage during assigned shifts to answer inbound calls.
- Provide up-to-date information regarding financial aid programs and alternative funding sources.
- Accurately enter and update student data in internal and external systems.
- Meet assigned productivity goals and adhere to standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#

- Strong attention to detail for processing financial aid information.
- Commitment to acting in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Academic background in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Communications, or Human Resources.
