Associate Data Operations Specialist

About the role#

This is an 8-month internship as an Associate Data Operations Specialist within the Brilliant Harvest department. You will focus on transforming raw equipment manuals, documents, and data into clean, organized, and searchable information. This role is ideal for those with an interest in agriculture or heavy equipment who enjoy structured, detail-oriented work.

What you'll do#

• Review equipment manuals and documents, tagging key details like publication dates, part numbers, and applicable models to ensure they are easily accessible.
• Add categories, keywords, and metadata to ensure data consistency and searchability.
• Perform quality control by double-checking work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Add contextual notes and clarifications to improve information utility for the team.
• Identify patterns, flagging any unusual or incorrect data for review.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors by providing direction and ensuring their output meets project expectations.
• Organize workloads, assign tasks, and track progress against deadlines.
• Document processes and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
• Share regular progress updates regarding quality, speed, and volume with the team.

What you'll need#

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow clear, consistent processes.
• Comfort working with digital documents, spreadsheets, and task-tracking tools.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with agriculture or heavy equipment is considered a significant asset.
• Experience with project management, task coordination, or working with external vendors is helpful.
• Background in Data Science, Computer Science, or Agriculture.
