Fall 2026 Co-Op - Health, Safety & Environmental

About the role#

Alcon is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Co-Op for the Fall 2026 term. This full-time, on-site position provides hands-on experience in occupational health and safety, environmental compliance, incident prevention, and risk management. You will contribute to site-wide HSE initiatives, assist with data analysis, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

What you'll do#

• Analyze data sets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement within HSE programs.
• Support HSE and project management activities, including planning, tracking, and reporting progress.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate data into actionable insights.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving approaches.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings clearly.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to the co-op, and at least one additional semester following the term.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Health Administration, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
• Ability to commit to working full-time (40 hours per week) for the entire fall semester.
• Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship.
