About the role#
Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc is seeking an Office Intern for a full-time summer 2026 position in Sacramento, California. This role supports the Risk Management department and assists with general administrative operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various Risk Management projects, including safety training documentation, research on safety regulations, and auditing files.
- Coordinate the installation of GPS trackers and dash cameras for company assets.
- Create and deliver electronic reports and manage user access for safety and compliance databases.
- Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, making copies, scanning materials, and mailing packages.
- Conduct data entry and software updates.
- Distribute materials to various locations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program with a focus on Human Resources, Risk Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP Easy Access, and Adobe Professional.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Professional interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, managers, and co-workers.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly desired.
