Finance Intern

About the role#

AgCarolina Farm Credit is offering a paid, part-time Finance Internship for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides hands-on experience within a financial services organization, focusing on operations that support agriculture and rural communities.

What you'll do#

• Gain exposure to core financial operations, including general accounting tasks such as accounts payable, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting, including quarterly and annual reports.
• Support loan-related financial processes.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and internal control compliance efforts.
• Collaborate on cross-departmental projects with teams including Lending, Credit, and Administration.

What you'll need#

• Status as a rising senior currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Ability to work 15–20 hours per week.
• Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
