• Reasoning Focus: Optimized for tasks like coding, math, and problem-solving over creative outputs.

• Speed: Runs 24% faster than its predecessor, O1-mini.

• Benchmarks:

  • AIME (math benchmark): Scores 79.6 (medium) and 87.3 (high), closely rivaling DeepSeek R1.

  • GPQA (scientific reasoning): Scores range from 70.6 (low) to 79.7 (high), competitive with top models.

  • Codeforces (coding tasks): High version ranks in the 97th percentile, surpassing many competitors.

• Cost: $0.55 per million input tokens and $4.40 per million output tokens—significantly cheaper than O1-mini and GPT-4o.
