🌟 The Ultimate Intern Bucket List for Tech & Business Interns 🌟
We’ve compiled a ‘bucket list’ for everything we think you should do during your first internship to set you up for success — both during the experience and beyond!
✨ 1. Find a Mentor Who’s Genuinely Investing in Your Growth
👉 Look beyond just advice—find someone who’s truly invested in your development. A great mentor will offer insights, provide guidance during challenges, and connect you to opportunities. Cultivate this relationship early to align your goals with theirs. Most people would be flattered to be approached and asked to be a mentor, so ask around and see who’s willing.
✨ 2. Understand the ROI of Your Work
📊 Whether in marketing or tech, learn how your contributions directly impact the company. Understand key metrics like conversion rates in marketing or user experience improvements in tech. Speak the language of business leaders by showing the value of your work, so you can tell the story of your work in your next interview.
✨ 3. Develop an Eye for Process Automation
🤖 Identify automation opportunities around the office, whether through simple scripts or workflow improvements. Learning tools like Python or Zapier can help you save time and money for your team.
✨ 4. Know Your Team's KPIs and Strategic Goals
🎯 In business, KPIs drive performance. Understand the metrics that matter most to your team and how your work aligns with larger business objectives. Ask questions about long-term strategy to find where you can add value.
✨ 5. Perfect the 5-Minute Problem-Solving Pitch
⏱️ Whether you’re solving a tech issue or pitching a business idea, get comfortable presenting your solution in under 5 minutes (even better if it’s 1). Executives and decision-makers love concise, actionable ideas.
✨ 6. Learn How to Translate Data into Actionable Insights
📈 In tech, familiarize yourself with A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback. In business, dig deep into tools like Excel or Tableau to generate actionable insights from data. Transform data into decisions that drive success, and learn how to communicate it to someone that can’t or won’t read the raw data for themselves.
✨ 7. Seek Out Product Feedback Early and Often
💬 In tech, developers and product managers constantly seek feedback from real users. In business, asking for feedback on your ideas or presentations ensures you iterate faster and improve more effectively.
✨ 8. Ask for Cross-Departmental Exposure
🤝 If you’re in one department, ask to sit in on others. Whether it's marketing, sales, or finance, seeing how different teams contribute to the bigger picture gives you a more holistic view of the company’s goals. (Plus, your boss will probably think you’re a go-getter, which you are).
✨ 9. Master the Art of Technical Documentation
📑 Whether it’s clear code comments, user manuals, or workflow documents, strong documentation is a vital skill. Make sure your notes are easy to follow, so anyone can understand your work. This will also help in case you need to prove something, explain something, and can aid your memory when building a portfolio.
✨ 10. Know Your Company’s Competitors (and What They’re Doing Differently)
🏙️ Track your company’s competitors and figure out what’s working for them. In tech, look for features they have that you don’t. In business, monitor market trends and customer feedback to uncover areas for improvement.

🚀 NVIDIA Dynamo: The Future of AI Inference
NVIDIA has launched Dynamo, an open-source software that boosts AI performance while reducing costs. AI models are now forced to use thousands of tokens just for one response — NVIDIA has come up with a solution 🧠⚡
🔹 Why it’s a game-changer:
💰Double the performance – Has the ability to double speed and revenue without extra GPUs.
🧠Smart GPU management – Sends tasks to the most efficient GPUs, saving computing power.
⚡Faster response times – Uses disaggregated serving to optimize processing phases.
💡Cost savings – Offloads data to cheaper storage and memory.
